Hezbollah has said that its fighters engaged Israeli troops in southern Lebanon despite a truce in place between both sides.
According to the group, its fighters “clashed.. with a force of the Israeli enemy army that tried to advance towards the vicinity of the town square of Haddatha,” adding that “the clashes are still ongoing”.

Hezbollah also pointed to what it described as renewed hostilities along the border region, suggesting that the situation on the ground remains unstable despite the existence of a truce framework intended to reduce military confrontation.
The area has long been a flashpoint, with intermittent exchanges of fire and cross-border incidents contributing to persistent insecurity for residents in surrounding communities.
As of the time of reporting, there has been no official confirmation or denial from the Israeli military regarding the incident.
