The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said he relies on his wife’s prayers for President Bola Tinubu’s continued support.
Wike made the remark on Tuesday during the inauguration of the Water Supply Network to Bwari Satellite Town in the Bwari Area Council of the FCT.
According to the minister, the FCT Administration has officially inaugurated 50 projects under the current administration and plans to commission 10 more before January next year.
Reflecting on his experience as a former governor and minister, Wike said no minister can perform optimally without the confidence and support of the President.
He disclosed that he regularly asks his wife to pray that President Tinubu will continue supporting the FCT Administration, adding that such encouragement has enabled the government to implement projects aimed at improving residents’ lives.
Wike pledged that the administration would not disappoint the President, assuring residents that ongoing development projects would continue across the territory.
He also described good governance as the ability to improve the welfare and living conditions of citizens, noting that public satisfaction remains the true measure of any administration’s success.
The minister commended Tinubu for providing the support needed to transform the Federal Capital Territory and deliver infrastructure projects.
