Election officials in Gombe are preparing for today’s by-election, distributing materials at Registration Area Centres (RACs).
At the Jekadafari RAC Centre, Presiding Officers (POs) and Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs) were collecting materials before moving to their respective wards.
The distribution was still ongoing ahead of the expected 7 am start of voting.
At the Dawakin RAC Centre in Kano, officials completed distribution of sensitive and non-sensitive materials and set up for the polls across 25 polling units.
In Delta State, Ubogo Market in Udu Local Government Area opened early Saturday as traders continued their activities despite the movement restriction imposed for the Udu State Constituency by-election.
The by-elections are also being held in Delta and Bauchi states.
