Leeds United signed Bosnia and Herzegovina defender Tarik Muharemovic from Italian side Sassuolo on Friday in a deal worth a reported £34 million ($45 million).
The 23-year-old centre-back agreed to a five-year contract with the Premier League club following his recent appearances at the World Cup.
The club welcomed Muharemovic in an official statement, noting that his arrival marks their second signing of the summer as they prepare for the 2026–27 Premier League campaign.

The young defender, who excelled in Serie A with Sassuolo last season, effectively replaces Pascal Struijk following the latter’s £20 million move to Brighton in June.
Muharemovic joins Wales forward Harry Wilson, who moved to Elland Road on a free transfer from Fulham earlier this off-season.
