The wife of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun State, Sekinah Oyebamiji, has expressed confidence that her husband will win Saturday’s governorship election.
She spoke after casting her ballot at Ward 9, Unit 003, AUD Primary School, Ikire, in Irewole Local Government Area.
Sekinah described the voter turnout as impressive and commended the conduct of the election, particularly the professionalism of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials and the presence of security personnel at the polling unit.
“The voters’ turnout is quite impressive. The INEC officials are conducting themselves professionally. There are police officers around,” she said.

She said the voting process had been peaceful and orderly so far, expressing optimism that Oyebamiji would emerge victorious at the end of the exercise.
According to her, the turnout and orderly conduct of the election had strengthened her confidence in the APC candidate’s chances.
She said she expected Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji to “carry the day” at the polls.
“I think the process is good so far. The expectation is that Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji will carry the day,” she said.
