Chukwuma Soludo, the Governor of Anambra State, has forwarded the first batch of commissioner nominations to the Anambra State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
This was revealed in a statement issued by the Special Adviser on New Media to the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Franklin Osankwa.
According to him, the list was presented in plenary and formally received by Speaker Somtochukwu Udeze, who then forwarded the nominees to the Committee on Screening and Election Matters for further legislative review.

The list includes seventeen male nominees and one female nominee.

Culture, Entertainment and Tourism — Udoji Amedu
Education — Ekene Ogugua

Information and Value Reformation — Law Mefor
Justice/Attorney-General — Tobechukwu Nweke, SAN
Lands — Offornze Amucheazi, SAN
Local Government and Community Affairs — Vin Ezeaka
Petroleum and Mineral Resources — Charles Ofoegbu
Physical Planning and Urban Development — Chijioke Oseloka Ojukwu

According to the announcement, the State House of Assembly is expected to begin screening immediately, followed by confirmation.
