SpaceX has announced a strategic partnership with the AI-driven coding platform Cursor, revealing an agreement that includes a $60 billion purchase option for the startup later this year.
The collaboration signals a deepening commitment to artificial intelligence for Elon Musk’s aerospace firm, which recently integrated Musk’s xAI outfit into its operations.
The alliance is part of a broader push to enhance technical efficiency as SpaceX prepares for its initial public offering.
In a statement shared on the social media platform X, the company indicated that the combined efforts of “SpaceXAI” and Cursor aim to develop industry-leading artificial intelligence tools tailored for complex software engineering and high-level knowledge work.
