In a continent bound by history, shared struggles, and the unbreakable rhythm of Ubuntu, News Central is setting the stage for a conversation that goes deeper than policy. it’s about people, pain, and the promise of togetherness.
On December 4, 2025, the network will host the News Central Town Hall – South Africa Edition, a landmark gathering themed “Beyond Borders: Confronting Division and Building a United Africa.”
It will bring together voices from Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Somalia, and Ethiopia — nations whose citizens have lived through the strain of misunderstanding and mistrust, yet still believe in the dream of a united Africa.
For years, tensions in pockets of South Africa have left scars not only on individuals and communities but on the very idea of African solidarity. Families displaced, businesses destroyed, and friendships fractured, yet, through the heartbreak, a question endures: Can Africa heal itself?

This Town Hall is News Central’s answer. A call to reflect, reconnect, and rebuild. It is a space where the trader from Harare, the student from Lagos, the entrepreneur from Maputo, and the shopkeeper from Mogadishu can all be heard.
Through storytelling, shared experiences, and honest dialogue, the event seeks to reignite the spirit of Ubuntu that once defined the continent’s strength.
The “Beyond Borders” Town Hall embodies the network’s commitment to fostering meaningful dialogue on issues shaping Africa’s future. It offers an opportunity to shift the narrative from division to dialogue, from pain to progress.
Through this initiative, News Central reinforces its mission of championing conversations that connect, empower, and inspire Africans wherever they may be.
