Speaking on News Central TV’s NC Exclusive, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo raised a chilling warning about the escalating violence in Nigeria, asserting that the country is facing a “full-blown genocide” orchestrated by terrorists.

Rev. Dachomo claimed the movement is a ‘jihad’ aimed at seizing land and has been silently growing for years.

“Before 2021, there were a lot of casualties that were being received all over the north,” Rev. Dachomo stated, noting that the reality of terrorism became “glaring” by 2021.

He argued that the crisis has been suppressed or “silenced” despite the massive scale of human suffering, which includes widespread reports of women being raped.

The cleric alleged that the crisis has devolved into forced enslavement, where local communities are compelled to become “slaves to the terrorists.”

He detailed how local people are forced to farm for the groups, and any native farming efforts are targeted, ensuring that locals “will not harvest anything.”

Rev. Dachomo contended that this is a deliberate “jihad movement” to “take the land” and is being supported by external forces, having “invited terrorists from the far north, Niger, and Chad.”

To underscore the severity of the crisis, Dachomo cited specific statistics, drawing on a monument he had visited.

“I’ve called names. These are the names of people who had been killed in one day, one night, 501,” he claimed, specifying that this event took place on March 7, 2010, in Dogo Na Hawa, Gyel-Buruku.

He also claimed that the native name, Gyel-Buruku, was abandoned in favour of Dogo Na Hawa after the arrival of external forces, stating this was part of the movement’s strategy.
