Popular American gospel singer and worship leader Ron Kenoly is dead.
His longtime music director, Bruno Miranda, announced the news in a statement posted on Kenoly’s official Instagram page.
The statement said the 81-year-old singer and songwriter passed away on February 3, 2026. The cause of death was not made public.
Kenoly was widely seen as a pioneer of contemporary worship music. He gained global recognition in the 1990s for songs that influenced modern Christian worship and earned him a loyal worldwide audience.
