The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has said Nigeria is too great to be intimidated by insurgents.

She said this during her session at the Government House in Ado-Ekiti while meeting with members of the Ekiti State Traditional Rulers’ Council on Saturday. She appreciated the people of Ekiti, specifically Governor Biodun Oyebanji and his wife, Olayemi, for the warm reception.

Additionally, the First Lady thanked the traditional rulers for their support to her husband, President Bola Tinubu, during the last presidential election. She stated that Tinubu is working tirelessly to curb insecurity in the country.

Oluremi also acknowledged the support offered by foreign countries to solve Nigeria’s security challenges and expressed optimism that the country’s security challenges will soon end. She called for Nigerians to be prayerful, adding that God will not fail the country.

‎The First Lady also canvassed for a second term for Governor Oyebanji.
