Jared Leto Denies Sexual Assault Allegations

US actor and singer Jared Leto denied allegations of sexual assault and harassment on Wednesday following the broadcast of a new BBC documentary featuring claims from 10 women.

The documentary, titled “Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret,” presents accounts of alleged misconduct occurring between 2002 and 2016, with nine of the accusers speaking publicly for the first time.

The claims include allegations of sexual assault involving two 17-year-olds, threats of sexual assault against a 19-year-old, and explicit, unsolicited phone calls to underage and adult women.

The 54-year-old Oscar winner and Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman issued a statement firmly rejecting the assertions, declaring that he has never sexually assaulted anyone and calling the claims categorically false.

The allegations follow similar misconduct accusations published by the digital magazine Air Mail in 2025, which Leto also denied.
