The All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied reports that it withdrew its 2027 Presidential Campaign Council list.
APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka dismissed the reports on Tuesday, describing them as rumours. Morka said the party would formally announce any changes to the campaign council if necessary.
According to Cable, he said, “It’s rumour. If there is any change to the list, it will be formally announced.”
The clarification followed reports that the APC had withdrawn the list released recently ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The party had announced the composition of its Presidential Campaign Council as President Bola Tinubu prepares to seek re-election.
The list had generated reactions within the party, with some members raising concerns over the inclusion or exclusion of certain party figures. The reactions also fuelled speculation that the party could adjust the campaign structure.
However, Morka’s statement indicates that the APC has not officially withdrawn the list, with any changes expected to be communicated through official party channels.
