Liverpool have announced a five-year partnership with Turkish Airlines, ending Standard Chartered’s long-running spell as the club’s main shirt sponsor.

Turkish Airlines will take over the front of Liverpool’s men’s, women’s and Academy shirts from June 2027, starting with the 2027-28 season. The agreement will end Standard Chartered’s 17-year partnership as Liverpool’s main shirt sponsor, which began in 2010.

Standard Chartered will remain associated with the club after the 2026-27 season, moving into a global partnership role.

The financial terms were not disclosed, although media reports have valued the five-year agreement at more than £300 million.

Liverpool Chief Commercial Officer Ben Latty described the deal as a “milestone” for the club.

“The front of the Liverpool shirt holds a special place in the history of our club,” Latty said.

He added that Turkish Airlines’ global reach would provide a strong foundation for the new partnership.

The deal also has a link to one of Liverpool’s most famous victories.

The club won the 2005 Champions League final in Istanbul after recovering from 3-0 down to beat AC Milan on penalties.

Turkish Airlines already has a strong presence in football. The airline is an official Champions League partner and main sponsor of the Turkey national team.

If the reported value is confirmed, the deal would rank among the Premier League’s most lucrative shirt sponsorship agreements.

Liverpool have not officially confirmed the reported £300 million figure.
