Chairman of the Ekiti All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Organisation and Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, has said the outcome of Saturday’s governorship election will serve as a referendum on the performance of the Tinubu administration, its public acceptance and the popularity of the party in Ekiti State.

Sani made the remarks while touring several polling units in Ado Ekiti on Saturday.

According to him, opposition parties in the state have little presence on the ground and are largely active on social media.

“This election will be a referendum of the works of President Tinubu and the performance of the Oyebanji government in Ekiti state,” he said.

Accompanied by the National Secretary of the APC, Senator Ajibola Basiru, the governor also took journalists on a tour of the party’s situation room, where officials monitored election results using AI-enabled systems and verified them with reports from officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the field.
