John Stones has decided to leave Manchester City at the end of the season after 10 trophy-filled years at Etihad.

The Premier League club made the announcement on Tuesday. The 31-year-old defender joined City from Everton in 2016, becoming manager Pep Guardiola’s second signing, and has made 293 appearances to date, scoring 19 goals.

The England international has won six Premier League titles and the Champions League in a decade of dominance for City. There may be more silverware to come, with the club chasing a domestic treble this season, having already won the League Cup.
