Nigeria’s EFCC Arrests Former Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has questioned the immediate past Kwara Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, over alleged diversion of N9billion.

Sources from the anti-graft agency disclosed that the former Governor was brought in and grilled by the crack team of the operatives at the EFCC’ headquaters in Abuja for over 7 hours.

The former Governor arrived the EFCC headquaters in early hours of Monday and this was confirmed by the EFCC Head of Media and Publicity, Wilson Uwujaren, who simply said the former Governor responded to the commission’s invitation.
