Orji Kalu Congratulates Oyebanji on Election Victory

Former Abia State Governor Orji Uzor Kalu has congratulated Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji on his victory in the state’s governorship election.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Kalu described the election outcome as a reflection of the confidence, trust and overwhelming support Oyebanji enjoys among the people of Ekiti State.

The former Senate Chief Whip said the governor’s victory showed public appreciation for his leadership style, people-focused policies, commitment to good governance and developmental achievements.

According to Kalu, voters demonstrated their support for continuity, stability and effective governance by renewing Oyebanji’s mandate.

He also commended residents of the state for conducting themselves peacefully during the election and praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies and other stakeholders for ensuring a credible electoral process.

Kalu expressed confidence that Oyebanji’s second term would bring further infrastructural development, economic growth, youth empowerment and social progress to Ekiti State.

“I heartily congratulate my dear brother, Governor Biodun Oyebanji, on this well-deserved and emphatic victory. The outcome of the election reflects the confidence the people of Ekiti State have in your leadership and the remarkable work your administration has done over the years,” Kalu said.

He added that the renewed mandate would inspire greater service and more developmental achievements for the people of the state.

Kalu also prayed for wisdom, strength and divine guidance for Oyebanji as he begins another term in office.
