The lawmaker representing Kiru/Bebeji Constituency in the National Assembly, Abdulmumin Jibrin, has predicted that President Bola Tinubu will secure at least 65 percent of the votes cast in the 2027 presidential election.

Jibrin made the prediction on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday.

The lawmaker said Tinubu has become more popular among Nigerians, adding that the President, a former Lagos State governor, has never lost an election.

Jibrin also spoke about the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, whom he described as an asset to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He said Wike has made sacrifices for the party, including his role in Rivers State politics.

According to Jibrin, members of the APC have benefited directly or indirectly from Wike’s support for Tinubu.

He therefore urged APC governors to regard Wike as one of their own and recognise his contributions to the party.

Jibrin’s 65 percent projection is his political assessment and is not an established election result or independently verified forecast.
