American alt-pop singer Oliver Tree has reportedly been among six people killed in a helicopter collision in Brazil on Sunday.
According to a police source quoted by AFP, Tree was listed on the passenger manifest of one of the two helicopters that collided mid-air over the western Rio de Janeiro suburb of Recreio dos Bandeirantes.
Authorities said all six people on board the two aircraft died in the crash.
The helicopters reportedly collided on Sunday morning before plunging into the parking lot of an electric vehicle dealership, where about 20 cars caught fire.
Officials said one helicopter was carrying five passengers, while the second aircraft had only the pilot on board. There were no survivors.
The police source said the victims could not be formally identified immediately because their bodies were badly burned in the crash.

Passengers believed to be travelling with Tree included a Brazilian music producer, an Argentine video director, and Argentine YouTuber Gaspar Prim, popularly known online as “Gaspi.”
The internet personality is known for songs including Life Goes On, Miss You and Alien Boy. He has more than 11 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
In recent days, Tree had shared videos from Brazil on social media after performing in São Paulo on June 6 as part of his international tour.
His next scheduled performance was due to take place in Lisbon on July 1.
Rio de Janeiro Deputy Mayor Eduardo Cavaliere earlier confirmed that foreign nationals were among those on board one of the helicopters but did not release identities.
Witnesses described scenes of panic following the collision.
