The White House on Wednesday dismissed an Iranian state television report about a draft framework deal to end the Middle East war, calling the claims a “complete fabrication.”

Officials fiercely rejected the state-run media report, which outlined a purported memorandum of understanding (MOU) that allegedly bound the United States to lifting its naval blockade and withdrawing all American forces from the Gulf region.

“This report from Iranian-controlled media is not true, and the MOU they ‘released’ is a complete fabrication,” the White House stated on X.

Administration officials urged the public and journalists to ignore the broadcast, emphasising that “FACTS MATTER” while simultaneously lashing out at U.S. media outlets for circulating the unverified Iranian claims.
