Serena Williams and Carlos Alcaraz have been named among the mixed doubles pairings for the 2026 US Open.
The US Tennis Association announced the pairings on Saturday, with Williams returning to the US Open for the first time since 2022.
The 44-year-old American, a 23-time Grand Slam singles champion and six-time US Open singles winner, will team up with Alcaraz, who has won seven Grand Slam singles titles.
Williams and Alcaraz received one of the final three wildcards into the mixed doubles main draw.
The other wildcard pairings went to Czech players Karolina Muchova and Jakub Mensik, and Americans Emma Navarro and Tommy Paul.
Williams previously won the US Open mixed doubles title in 1998 with Max Mirnyi.

Her return comes after she teamed up with her sister Venus in women’s doubles at Cincinnati, marking their first appearance together since 2022.
The sisters lost in the first round.
Mixed doubles matches will begin on Tuesday and end on Wednesday at the National Tennis Centre in New York.
The regular US Open will begin on August 30.
Elsewhere, Jessica Pegula and Taylor Fritz have been paired together after their original partners, Jack Draper and Elena Rybakina, withdrew from the event.
The American duo have been given direct entry into the mixed doubles main draw.
Russian player Diana Shnaider is also searching for a new partner after Daniil Medvedev withdrew.
The mixed doubles draw will be made on Sunday ahead of qualifying, which begins Monday.
