Israelis Rally Against Prime Minister Netanyahu in Tel Aviv

Thousands of Israelis continued their protest on Monday shouting “Elections now!” and “Bring back the hostages now!” and demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after five months of war in Gaza.

Some donned T-shirts and banners with faces and names of hostages seized during Hamas’s October 7 attack.

News Central’s Bongani Siziba reporting from Kibbutz Re’im says friends, families and tourists pay their respects at the Nova Festival Memorial. Over 1160 people were killed by Hamas on October 7, 2023.

There were also calls for an immediate ceasefire, a position Netanyahu’s government has rejected, arguing it would amount to a triumph for Hamas.
