Nigerian record label Mavin has disowned Lotanna Harry and warned the public not to engage him as an agent, representative, or authorised intermediary.
In a statement issued by its Legal Affairs department on September 10, 2026, shared on X on Tuesday, the record label said Harry has been presenting himself as an agent or authorised associate of Mavin.
It “categorically and unequivocally” denied the representation, saying Harry had never been appointed, engaged, authorised or mandated to act on its behalf in any capacity.
Mavin said its only known relationship with Harry was as a paid video model engaged on a subcontract basis to appear in some of its videos.
“The Individual has no authority whatsoever to use the Company’s name, brand, reputation, business relationships or purported authority for any purpose,” the company said.

It warned that any communication, negotiation, solicitation, transaction, offer or other action purportedly undertaken by Harry on behalf of Mavin was unauthorised and would not bind the company.
“All persons are hereby expressly warned not to deal with or rely upon any representation made by the said Individual as being authorized by the Company,” Mavin said.
The company added that anyone who chose to engage with Harry based on his purported authority would do so at their own risk.
Mavin said it took unauthorised use of its name and business interests seriously and reserved the right to pursue legal action against Harry or anyone involved in facilitating such representations.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the said Lotanna Harry IS NOT AN AGENT, REPRESENTATIVE OR AUTHORIZED INTERMEDIARY OF MAVIN,” the company said.
It added that the notice was issued to protect its clients, partners, artists, associates and members of the public from unauthorised dealings involving Harry.
