Nigeria’s ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), has pegged its expression of interest and nomination forms for presidential aspirants at ₦100 Million.
The fees for the party’s forms were detailed in a statement issued on Monday, which included the party’s schedule of activities for the 2027 election cycle. According to the schedule, the expression of interest and nomination forms for presidential aspirants, which cost ₦100 Million, are the highest, while those for governorship aspirants cost ₦50 Million.
APC’s House of Representatives aspirants will pay ₦10 million, while senatorial aspirants will pay ₦20 million. State House of Assembly aspirants are to pay ₦6 million for both the expression of interest and nomination forms.
Female aspirants, youths, and persons living with disabilities are to pay only for the expression of interest forms and 50% of the nomination fees. According to the party’s schedule, the notice of election to state chapters commenced on April 20, 2026, marking the official beginning of the party’s internal electoral process.

The sale of nomination forms is scheduled from April 25 to May 2, 2026, while the deadline for submission of completed forms and accompanying documents is May 4, 2026. Screening of aspirants across all categories, including presidential and governorship positions, State Houses of Assembly, the House of Representatives, and the Senate, will take place between May 6 and May 8, 2026.
APC’s presidential aspirants will be screened on May 9, 2026, while the publication of screening results for all categories is scheduled for May 11, 2026.
Appeals arising from the screening exercise are to be held between May 12 and May 13 to provide aggrieved aspirants the opportunity to seek redress. The presidential category election appeal is slated for May 18, 2026, while appeals for other offices will continue through May 25, 2026.
Primary elections are expected to begin with the presidential primary slated for May 15 and 16, followed by the House of Representatives primaries on May 18. Senate primaries will be held on May 20, 2026, while State House of Assembly primaries are scheduled for May 21, 2026. Governorship primaries will conclude the exercise on May 23.
