Guests have begun arriving for the 2026 Ojude Oba Festival in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, dressed in colourful, beautifully coordinated traditional outfits ahead of the annual celebration.
Photos show different groups wearing richly designed attires, including flowing agbadas, elegant gele head ties, and detailed beaded accessories.
The festival is held on the third day after Eid al-Kabir and is one of Nigeria’s most popular cultural events, attracting thousands of people every year.
Politicians, celebrities, business leaders, and members of the Nigerian diaspora are expected to attend to celebrate the culture and heritage of the Ijebu people.
