World Food Programme Signs MoU with Libya on School Feeding

The World Food Programme has partnered with Libya’s Education ministry to support school feeding project in Libya

In respect to that, Libya’s Education Ministry and the World Food Programme late Monday signed a memorandum of understanding on school feeding.

According to the statement released by the Ministry, the MoU was signed by Minister of Education, Musa Muhammad al-Maqrif and WFP Representative/Country Director in Libya, Rawad Halabi

The Minister praised the WFP’s efforts to support primary and middle school students.

This is confirming that the ministry will follow up and monitor the implementation of the MoU, the statement added.

The MoU will invest in school gardens, nutrition education, micronutrient supplementation and de-worming.
