Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold, whose real name is Adekunle Kosoko, has announced the birth of twin babies with his wife, Simi.
The announcement was made on Wednesday through a post on Adekunle Gold’s Snapchat story.
In the post, he revealed that the couple had welcomed twins, describing the moment as a double blessing.
“Asked God for another child, and he blessed me double,” he wrote. The couple did not disclose the babies’ gender.
In December 2025, Simi shared a video on Instagram showing her baby bump, captioned, “From my baby, for my babies,” hinting that the family was set to expand.
The twins’ arrival also comes weeks after Simi appeared in a clip linked to Adekunle Gold’s recently released music video, My Love Is the Same, a video teaser featuring a visibly pregnant Simi, his wife.
The music video also featured their first child, Adejare Kosoko, popularly known as Deja, singing, while Simi starred.
Adekunle Gold and Simi got married in 2019 after years of friendship and musical collaboration.
Both artists were previously signed to X3M Music early in their careers and have since become one of Nigeria’s most prominent celebrity couples.
The couple welcomed Deja in May 2020. She was the inspiration behind Simi’s hit song “Duduke”, which became an anthem for expectant mothers across Nigeria.
