Nigerian President Bola Tinubu will receive the certificate of return and party flag of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as its presidential candidate for the 2027 election.
This was disclosed on Saturday in a statement issued by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

The presentation is scheduled to take place on Sunday at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja following the nationwide collation of results from the party’s presidential primary election.
According to the statement, the Presidential Primary Elections Committee will formally hand over the certificate and party flag to Tinubu during the event.
The ceremony is expected to be attended by APC governors, members of the party’s National Executive Committee and National Working Committee, lawmakers from the National Assembly, as well as other party leaders and stakeholders.

“The Presidential Primary Elections Committee will present the certificate and flag at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja after nationwide collation of the primary election results,
“APC governors, members of the National Executive Committee, the National Working Committee, and the National Assembly, along with party stalwarts, will attend the event, ” the statement read.
