Paris Saint-Germain(PSG) head coach Luis Enrique has signed a three-year contract extension that will keep him at the French club until 2030.
PSG announced the new deal on Friday, confirming that the Spaniard will remain in charge beyond the end of the current season, when his previous contract was due to expire.
The announcement came ahead of PSG’s Ligue 1 clash with Monaco at the Parc des Princes, with players Joao Neves, Fabian Ruiz, Willian Pacho, Lucas Beraldo and Senny Mayulu also agreeing to new contracts with the club.
Luis Enrique, joined by those five Champions League winners, was given a raucous reception from the home fans when the announcement was made.
The former Barcelona and Spain manager took charge of PSG at the start of the 2023/24 season, with the task of delivering the club’s first European Cup after years of pursuit.
He emphatically achieved that goal when PSG defeated Inter Milan 5-0 in the 2025 Champions League final.
The Parisian club then retained the European title in May, overcoming Arsenal on penalties in the final.
Since replacing Christophe Galtier, Luis Enrique has also guided PSG to three Ligue 1 titles and two French Cup triumphs.
