Several people were injured after lightning struck a tree at an amusement park in southern Sweden on Sunday, authorities said.
“Today we had a severe thunderstorm over Tosselilla, which led to several lightning strikes directly in the area. This has resulted in a few people being injured,” the Toselilla Sommarland park said.
Regional health authorities later said a 45-year-old woman was hospitalised with serious injuries.

Two other people were taken to the hospital by ambulance, while two adults and five children received treatment for minor injuries.
According to Swedish public broadcaster SVT, the amusement park had suspended rides and cleared its waterpark pools in anticipation of the storm.
However, a tree was struck by lightning, and debris reportedly fell on a nearby group of visitors.
The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute had earlier issued thunderstorm and heavy rain warnings for large parts of southern Sweden as severe weather swept across the region.
