Trump Warns Iran Will Pay for Troop Deaths

U.S. President Donald Trump warned Iran on Monday that Tehran will pay “many times over” for every American soldier killed, directing top defence officials to exact severe retribution following three new U.S. combat fatalities.

The total U.S. military death toll reached 17 as Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian acknowledged the conflict has escalated into a “full-scale war,” prompting fresh American strikes aimed at dismantling Iranian threats to maritime trade.

The confrontation expanded as Yemen’s Houthi rebels threatened a naval blockade against Saudi Arabian ports, directly endangering Riyadh’s Red Sea oil exports.

Trump Cuts Tariffs to Boost US Smelters

Simultaneously, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards launched drone and missile barrages against targets across Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Syria while claiming attacks on commercial oil tankers navigating the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

Rising oil prices and escalating regional clashes continue to strain international shipping and regional stability following the collapse of earlier truce agreements.
