NFL team owners unanimously selected Nashville to host the February 2030 Super Bowl during their spring meetings in Florida on Tuesday.
The historic championship game will take place at the Tennessee Titans’ upcoming, state-of-the-art Nissan Stadium.
The enclosed 60,000-seat venue is currently under construction along the banks of the Cumberland River, adjacent to the team’s existing home, and is scheduled to open its doors in 2027.
This decision marks the first time the state of Tennessee will host the NFL’s premier event.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell noted that the overwhelming success of the 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville, which he called one of the greatest fan events in league history, made the city a natural choice for the big game.
Goodell credited the vision of Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk and the organisation for turning the Super Bowl dream into reality.
