Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has hosted Nigerian professional footballer Victor Osimhen and his Galatasaray teammates after winning the Turkish Süper Lig title.
Galatasaray secured its 26th league title this season, finishing ahead of rivals Fenerbahçe by three points.
Osimhen played a major role in the title-winning campaign, scoring 15 league goals and providing five assists in 22 matches. He made a great impression in the UEFA Champions League, recording seven goals and three assists before Galatasaray were knocked out by Liverpool FC in the round of 16.

Following the league triumph, the Galatasaray squad visited the Presidential Complex in Ankara, where they were received by President Erdoğan. The players all wore black suits and exchanged handshakes with the Turkish President during the ceremony. Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek also presented the club’s jersey to Erdoğan.
Galatasaray is now focused on making history next season by becoming the first Turkish club to win five consecutive league titles if they successfully defend the trophy. Osimhen has enjoyed a successful spell at the club, winning three trophies so far.
Meanwhile, several European clubs, including Chelsea FC, FC Barcelona, and FC Bayern Munich, have reportedly shown interest in signing the Nigerian striker, although Galatasaray remain keen on keeping him.
